KALEX is a special liquid mineral fertilizer that contains a high concentration of phosphorus and potassium derived from POTASSIUM-PHOSPHITE. Potassium phosphite has a very systemic activity. In fact, it can easily enter the vegetable tissue and can move throughout the plant with both upward and downward movement. In addition to a nutritional function, KALEX carries out, a protective action due to an increase of production of phytoalexins, stimulated by the phosphite ions. Phytoalexins are natural substances which make part of the constitutive and induced defences of plants.
